Walnut & Oak Valet
with Oak Inlay
This unique piece could be used as a keepsake box, or as a dresser-top valet. But it would also make a great accent piece on an executive’s desk, on the mantle, or on a hall table.
The body of the box is crafted from rich black walnut, and topped with a figured oak veneer lid. It is accented with strips of oak inlay around its edge.
The box features solid brass hinges which open a full 180 degrees for easy access to the contents. The interior comes with an oak veneer bottom, and a removable black velvet bottom lining.
The finish is a durable hand-rubbed oil-poly blend, which has been buffed to a soft luster, and given multiple coats wax.
9.75" long, 6.25" wide, and 2.5" high.
